But God, raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly {places} in Christ Jesus... I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. After Jesus paid the penalty for sin, He went to Heaven and prepared a place for us by sending the Holy Spirit to indwell us. Heaven and Earth are joined together through the spirit with different dimensions. The earthly physical dimension is what are literal eyes see, feel and touch. The Heavenly spiritual dimension is what are spiritual eyes see, feel and experience. Both dimensions exist simultaneously in the same place and person because they have been joined together in Christ Jesus. There is no separation. God wants to dwell with us as His son's and daughters. He has used many metaphors to represent this desire.

Life is a journey. We can take several paths leading to different destinations. One glorious destination is the Heavenlies or dwelling place of God. This track has the one exquisite aspect of partaking of our destination spiritually while we travel life's path. Since the Heavenlies exist in a different spiritual dimension it is every where just like the radio and TV waves. We just have to be able to tune our spiritual antennae to receive this station. We can ascend these spiritual heights with sculpture, music , nature and meditation.
